In August, Industrial Fluid Management was called out to perform a varnish removal on a rotary screw compressor that was having to be shut down periodically due to increased  bearing temperatures as high as 260 degrees F. IFM performed a chemical cleaning and installed kidney loop filtration in order to remove the varnish from the system. By removing the varnish and related issues to the compressor, Cornerstone was able to reduce the bearing temperature by 50 degrees F.

Industrial Fluid Management, a division of Gaubert Oil Company, was established to provide expert consulting, quality products and services to the industrial manufacturing market. Contamination is the leading cause of equipment failure, leading to downtime and increased maintenance costs. Industrial Fluid Management works with customers to achieve a higher level of reliability through quality lubrication and contamination control.
